The value of this feature is not having to re-write an agent each time either a new endpoint is created, or our branding is changed. Mostly, it would be branding that would be the main cause of change. Re-writing an agent involves knowledge of the Boo scripting language which we do not have in house.
Now I got it. Thanks Michael. That is not straight forward but let's see if we can find an easier way in the future.
I probably didn't explain this very well. The key is to be able to avoid coding when we need to change our branding. If we need to change the bug/watermark that appears in our online videos, I understand we need to re-write the agent that is responsible for adding the watermark. Armando tells me that each watermark is a separate preset in the transcoder which why I mentioned presets. But essentially it's a way to change your branding without having to re-write agents.
Hope that makes more sense.
Hi Michael, can you add a screenshot to know exactly where you expect to have this? Thanks!
