In Wedit, only 2 audio channels can be selected. This means that any rough cut taken from our standard 8 channel recordings will only contain 2 channels. This also means that Wedit cannot be used for format edits.
The ability to use only Wedit for format edits would mean that they would not have to be transferred to an edit suite. The time savings would be significant.
Apparently this can be configued in Nablet? PRIORITY: Medium because it is a function we do not have now, but it would save considerable time.
Our calculations indicate this could save us between 2h and 2h40m person hours per week.
